Soursop-Tobacco as Botanical Insecticides

Materials botanical toxins that have been developed and farmers have been tested at the Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) of soursop leaf and tobacco.

To make one liter of toxic botanical seed:
- It takes 50 sheets of soursop leaf tobacco leaf and one handheld.
- Both materials are crushed and soaked in one liter of fresh water for 24 hours.
- The marinade is then mixed with ordinary water 14 liters, equivalent to one tank that is ready to be used to spray crops in the fields.

The success rate is almost the same botanical poison with a drug matador, which can kill 7-9 setiap10 grasshopper grasshopper samples. By using poison botany, farmers to help preserve the ecosystem. Because botanical poison does not kill predators or animals that is not an enemy of farmers.

It feels like this is applied technology needed by farmers in the field. If the pest problem is to diminialisir, at least reduce the problems of farmers in processing plants!
